RP w/ ShayLlama

Dallas blinked, "Who's this?" He asked, cocking his head to the right. His tail twitched.

"She doesn't have a name yet. I figured I'd let Sara choose."

He sat and stared at the other dog.

She peeked around at him, then hid again, terrified of the toddler who advanced on her then fell on her butt.

He chuckled and walked over to the little princess, bending down so she could use him to stand up.

She just hugged him, then yawned and curled up on the floor.
The dog creeped out and sniffed the little girl, then laid down beside her, nuzzling her.

He did the same.

She looked at him.

He flicked his ears and looked back at her. "Hello." He barked, so the two humans above them and then one between them couldn't understand. "I'm Dallas."

She looked at the little girl, not replying, and she looked back at him.

"Can you speak?" He asked her, resting his head on his paws.

She nodded slightly, then said, "The little girl's sleeping. We shouldn't wake her."

"That's all she ever does, I swear." He snickered.

She rested her head on her paws, "So? We shouldn't wake her."

He wagged his tail and looked up at Gawnyll and Trienna.

Gawnyll had moved Trienna to the sofa and was sitting with her, his arms around her. She was smiling.

"Can you take your kid, please?" He asked them.

Trienna nodded and walked over, picking up the little sleeping princess and walkin back to the sofa. She curled back up next to Gawnyll, positioning their daughter between them. She slept on.
The dog yawned.

He nudged her, "Get on up. I'll show you around a bit."

She stood and looked at him, "Lead the way."

He started down the hall to the stairs, and from there the throne room.

She followed him.

"This is the throne room." He said. "The chair on the left is Master Trienna's, the one on the right in Gawn's. Don't get on either or they stick you outside all night. Sometimes people come in those doors. Don't bark, don't growl, unless I do. Most of the time they are important and it can make Master Trienna angry if you bark at them, but every once in a while they pose a threat. Usually to Gawnyll."

"Okay." She paused, "I'm not very brave..."

"I noticed. Don't worry, we can't always be brave. I wasn't when I first got here. Master's family terrified me at first, but you'll get used to the castle. Where'd you come from?"
