"It's fine. Do you have anywhere to stay?"

She shook her head, "No where except the clouds. But its a bit chilly up there..."

"You could stay here, but we'll have to ask my parents."

Zoë nodded, "Thank you again."

"It's no problem."

She smiled weakly and hovered lightly above the floor.

He stood and walked up to his parents' room, motioning for her to follow.

She followed closely.
Nightingale was sitting in Dallen's lap, her stomach big with another child. She yawned.

Dallen smiled at Night.

Rune knocked on the door, "Momma, Papa? I have a question."

Did you, like, delete most of the messages?

No. We ran out of pages. I guess it automatically created a new topic or something....

"Yes honey?" Nightingale asked.

"May I come in?"

"Yes."

He opened the door and entered, motioning for Zoe to follow. He looked at his parents, "I saved this girl. Her name's Zoe, and she doesn't have anywhere to stay. Would it be alright for me to have the servants prepare a room for her so she can stay here?"
Dallen looked at him, "What?" He looked back at Night, "What do you think, because I honestly have nothing to say."

"You saved her?"
Zoë nodded, flushing red and looking at the floor.
"From what?"

"A man."

"A ma- .......... oh. You poor thing...."
Zoë smiled weakly, and half hid behind Rune.

Rune looked at her, "Zoe, it's okay... No need to be scared. My parents won't hurt you."

"I know they won't... your father is just intimidating..." she mumbled.
Night grinned, elbowing Dallen.

Dallen chuckled, "Well, I'm sorry about that. It's nice to meet you, Zoe." He smiled.

Hey, could I be this next child as well when it's born?

"And you as well, sir." Zoë said.
"She can stay." Night nodded.

Sure.

"Thank you, Momma. I'll get a room set up for her." He paused, "How are you, by the way?"

"Better." She said. "Now run along."
Zoë quietly left the room, waiting in the hall for him.

To when? Maybe to when his sibling is about seven? That, if I'm correct, would make him in his late twenties, and he'd either be king or he could have chosen to stay a prince for a while more. You can choose which...
