I'm not making him canon so it doesn't matter. I suppose he might act more like 10 since that's all I've seen.

The Doctor walked out of the TARDIS, then looked around himself, surveying the area.

Children walked by on their way to school, back packs either being dragged along the sidewalk behind them or slung lazily over one shoulder. One girl stuck out. She was clearly a highschooler, but she was skipping along like a child.

Ugh. I have to get a hair cut. Brb/bbl. Won't take lon.

He noticed her right off the bat, and felt compelled to go speak to her, though he knew that he had something he needed to do there, as the TARDIS had brought him there without his telling her to. He walked up and smiled, doing a little bow, "Hello, miss."

This is the Doctor. My Doctor.

She looked at him, waving, "'Ello, gov!" She laughed.

He looks like Sebastian mixed with Ciel. :3 Still getting haircut. Drying my hair.

He chuckled, "What's your name? I'm the Doctor."

"Doctor? Doctor who?" She asked, ignoring his question.

"Just the Doctor." He responded, holding out his hand for her to shake.

She took his hand, "I'm Elizabeth. You can call me Eli though." The highschooler laughed, giving it a bone-crushing squeeze.

He smiled and pulled his hand away, shaking the pain away, "It's very nice to meet you. You're heading to school, I presume?"

"Wish I wasn't. Why? Gonna stalk me like a creep?"

"No. Just an assumption. You should get going before you're late. Education is important..." He paused, "Plus, I have some sleuthing I need to do, so I really can't spend too much time talking."

"Sleuthing." She chuckled. "Uh-huh. Have fun sleuthing." She 'booped' his nose with a grin, then took off down the street.

He chuckled again, then began walking in the opposite direction of her, looking around for anything unusual that would signal something wrong in the area. Maybe a news headline telling of people's disappearances, or other such things.

Later, when school let out, the Doctor was hanging out just inside the TARDIS, watching the kids leave the school, waiting for the girl, Eli. He needed to speak to her again. He had a feeling that she had something to do with what was happening in this place and time.
