She stood before them and waited patiently.

He looked at her, "Yes?"

"Maiden of prosperity and serenity here, as you requested sir." She said with a curtsie.

He smiled, "Hello. It's nice to meet you."

"And you as well. Might I ask what you need of me?"

"I honestly don't remember. Or my wife originally was the one who wanted to call you..." He paused, then said to Sparrow, "Could you go get Illirea for me?"

Sparrow nodded and went off, returning moments later with the queen, who smiled when she saw the girl, "Hello."

She waved.

"I'm Queen Illirea. Could you possibly come with me into another room?"

"I'm Ciela." She walked over to the queen, motioning for her to lead the way.

Illirea walked out of the room, to her old nursing room. She sat in her custom made rocking chair and looked at her, "Spectral wants another child, but I can't birth another. I was informed that having another could kill me yesterday.... I don't know how to tell him, and I don't want to disappoint him.... And I know how you want a child. Could you help me talk to him? Maybe even have the baby for me? He'll agree. He always agrees with me." She smiled awkwardly, then looked away, embarrassed.

"O-of course, milady." She replied, her voice a bit shaky.

"It's completely your choice. Don't think you have to say yes just because I'm the queen. I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to do." Illirea added, looking at her again, "I don't mind risking my life to make him happy."

She shook her head, "It is my duty to serve the royal family, should they call upon me. If this is what you require of me then so be it."

Illirea nodded, "Okay." She smiled, "We should wait to speak to him until later."

Ciela sighed, sitting beside Kirin in the courtyard, stroking his mane as the equine ate.

Illirea walked out to her and sat beside, "Hello Ciela. I hope you're fairing well. Carrying a child is hard work." She paused for a moment, "And I've spoken with my husband. We think it only fair that you name the child when it's born, since you'll be the one to birth it. Any name you want. This child will be the future king or queen... It's siblings have already renounced the throne, when they heard it was coming." She held out a hand to touch Ciela's stomach, but withdrew, "May I?"

She smiled, "Go ahead. By the way, I am never doing this again."

The queen placed a hand on her stomach, "We won't require it again... We needed an heir. My children never wanted to take the throne. My daughter... She seeks adventure, and chastity, and she knows that as queen, she wouldn't be allowed out of the city, and she'd have to have children, do the "dreadful act" as she calls it. My son... He wants nothing more than to live out in the woods, farming and hunting and fishing to feed a wife and maybe a child. He doesn't want to rule. My husband didn't want to destroy either of their dreams, so that's why he wanted another child. To take his or my place when we retire from the throne in our old years, or when my husband dies."

She nodded with a brighter smile.
Kirin looked at the queen curiously.

Illirea smiled, pulling her hand away, "My daughter also wishes to express her thanks to you. She wants to make you a few dresses, two or three for during your pregnancy, and maybe 4 or 5 for after. She was wondering if you'd like to come help her pick out the fabric and color for each dress and then do a fitting for your first? She made me this dress that I'm wearing."

I'm sorry about how much Illirea talks...

"Sh-she really doesn't have to.... I'm just doing my duties as a maiden after all...." She mumbled, twiddling her thumbs.
