Tara got up off the couch. She looked at him and shook him softly, "Maj, wake up. We need to take Anna to her bed and get to bed ourselves."

He groaned and swatted at her, rolling over. "Hnnnnng....."

"Get up, Majoro. Now." Tara said. She shook him softly again, though a little harder, "I don't want to go to bed al

one."

"Then stay down here." He groaned, still half asleep.

"I can't sleep on the couch, Maj. It hurts my back. I guess I can go sleep in our room alone, but if you don't come with me and help me take Anna to bed, you won't get the pleasure of my company for a week." She responded, walking over to pick Anna up from the couch, despite how heavy the toddler was, and what pain it would wreak on her back the next day. She looked back at him, "And that includes sleeping with me in our room at night, any kind of 'sleeping' with me." She carefully picked up their daughter, slowly so as to not wake her. She winced when she got fully standing up again, then walked out of the living room, "Goodnight, Maj."

He huffed and stood up, grogily walking past her to their room.

I kinda wanna do an old-style rp. Like, WWI/II era, where Americans were extremely rascist towards all who were not white as a Brit and women didn't have equal rights 'n' stuff.

That sounds fun. You start.

Tara carried Anna to her room and placed her down in her little toddler bed. Anna opened her eyes slowly and looked up at her mother, "Mommy..."
"Honey, it's okay. It's bedtime. Go back to sleep." She kissed the toddler's forehead and left the room, leaving the door cracked. She walked to her and her husband's room and laid in the bed.

He looked at her, almost asleep again, before rolling over and pulling her close.

Ehan trudged wearily through the rain, ignoring any and all people glaring at him. He tugged his hat further down over his face, dark chocolate eyes looking at the puddles of water at his feet.

She pulled away from him, "No." She rolled over to her side of the bed, onto her side with her back to him, "I needed help with Anna. I've had problems with my back, and carrying her hurt. It still hurts."

Laura sat on her porch with her mother, watching the streets as she pretended to read.

Maj sighed and crossed his arms, kissing her cheek before rolling back to his side of the bed.

Ehan looked up and met her eyes for a split second before looking away, knowing it was supposedly rude for him to do that. His father had told him when they had moved to America from Jerusalem for unknown reasons.... he hated it there, in Los Angeles, but knew he had no choice but to stay there. It was better than being stuck in the war the Egyptians had gotten themselves in to.

Tara sighed, and after being unable to sleep, she rolled back over and cuddled next to him.

Laura stared at him, then after getting smacked in the back of the head she looked back at her book. She sighed.

He kept walking, fumbling with the badge in his pocket. How he had gotten his job was a mystery to him, he was so dark he was almost black. Almost, but not quite. Muttering to himself in Arabic he continued on his way to the latest crime scene. A murder.

He chuckled, eyes opening a little, then went back to sleep.

She looked at her mother, "Mother... May I go out? For a walk?"
Her mother sighed, "Fine. But be careful. Men are unruly. If one wrongs you, even in public, no one will believe you."
Laura nodded, then stood and walked off down the road, after the boy.

Tara fell asleep quickly once they were touching, a small smile on her lips.
Skip to morning? Or a few more years?

Ehan sighed and fixed his hat, then turned around when he heard puddles splashing behind him.

Years. And with a side of the archangel?

Laura immediately pretended to have been watching her feet, still walking towards him.

Not yet, again. Later. 10 years?

He looked confused for a moment, opening his mouth to say something, but didn't, just turned and kept walking.

She walked up to him.

He glanced over at her, furrowing his brow in a silent question.

Maj floated just above the water of the docks, staring at his family as his pale skin took an orangish tint.

I'm grounded. May not reply for a bit after this... Expect long time waits.

She smiled a little, "Hi."

Anna glanced at the water, then at her father. The now thirteen year old was quite confused. She sat down on the edge of the docks, a little afraid to get into the water. She'd never before been swimming.
Tara chuckled a little bit, then slid off of where she sat on the docks into the water beside her husband.

Maj grinned, "C'mon. You've got merfolk in your blood. The water won't hurt you." He chuckled.

"Hello, miss." He said, a slight bow of his head.

I'm sad. I miss my llama. :'(

She slid slowly into the water, then quickly hugged her father, terrified.

"I'm Laura. What's your name, sir?"

I miss you too! URGH!

"You're going to sting a little for a couple seconds." He said, shrugging her off.
